Wow. Notebooks are my addiction and when I stumbled onto your page I was blown away. These are stunning!
How do you get started in this field? I so want to do what you do!

Thank you so much! Actually, I started creating leather books because I could not find books that I wanted. I had in mind something that was not available anywhere. Only one option: create it myself!

And I had many friends doing "live action role playing" so I had a market there already!

Is it incredibly expensive to buy the materials??
Do you know where I could find some stuff to make my own?
(>.<) if you don't mind me asking

Start simple, get some standard printing paper, usually 5$ at any store. You can cut them any size you need! Or find small hardcover notebook, and cover it in leather, you will get familiar with the technique.

Leather can be found at specialised distributors, and can get quite expensive. Keep you eyes open of opportunities. Look for the old damaged leather jacket in your grand-parents attic. Or leather jacket at thriftstore or flea markets. They are sold for less than 10$, and you will be able to salvage pieces big enough to bind a small book! Or medium size depending on the cuts on the jackets.
